Today's health care is all about choices. Here at The Joyful Doc we believe you should be and are in charge of your medical choices. How much to spend, what tests to pay for and control your budget. We appreciate that your HSA (Health Savings Account) or your budget has limits. Therefore, we offer simple pricing so you are always in control when it comes to your medical choices.
Do you accept my insurance?
We are a direct pay clinic which means you pay the $100 fee at the time of service ($199 if it's your first visit). You are given a super bill receipt that can be submitted by you to your private insurance for "out of network provider" reimbursement. If you have a health care savings account, this receipt can be saved for your tax records.
What kind of problems will you see me for?
We see all general family medicine type issues. Here is a list of the most common visits:
Colds, sinus infections, sore throat, diarrhea, constipation, thyroid issues, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, anxiety, depression, irritable bowel, rashes, skin tag removal, mole removal, warts, acne, well baby/child/teen/adult exams.
What kind of labs are available?
We have all labs available. Strep screens, urinalysis, mono screen, pregnancy test, hemoglobin A1C are done onsite. Blood tests such as lipid profiles, metabolic profiles, thyroid tests, vitamin D levels are drawn at our clinic and sent out for processing overnight at Quest Lab.

How do I schedule an appointment?
Scheduling an appointment in begins with clicking on your preferred date and time. You will provide some basic information and then a confirmation email will be sent to you. If the patient is under 18, you will need to call our office to schedule an appointment (715-953-4451) or schedule online below using a parental birthdate which will be corrected on arrival.
