I’m Dr. Jodi Ritsch, owner of The Joyful Doc Clinic in Eau Claire. I hope this finds you enjoying your summer!

I know health care costs are at the top of the list of concerns for people in business today. I created a way to cut out that costly worry for my patients, which is why I’m reaching out to you today. Our direct pay clinic was founded to help transform lives and transform health care.

I created an easy way for small businesses and employers of all sizes to offer a medical perk: The Joyful Doc Circle.

How does it work? It’s a membership that gives your crew unlimited primary care visits and low-cost lab work (starting at $10/lab) for a monthly fee of $75 for an adult and just $25 for a child.

The feedback from my patients who join the circle is overwhelming. Just one trip to traditional clinics can easily be $1,200. That’s more than an entire year of “The Circle.”

During the summer, a lot of weekends are spent camping or at a cabin. Dr. Jodi's "cabin basket" is a great life hack for stress-free packing.

Retired Nurse “Mom” helps Doctor Daughter Care for Patients

Dr. Jodi Ritsch always knew she wanted to have a job in the medical field, taking care of patients. In fact, she had a good teacher and inspiration. That’s because her mother, Shirley Hansen, was a registered nurse and helped foster her daughter’s curiosity and compassion.

“My mom was a wonderful example of the kind of compassion and interest you need to diagnose and treat patients from all walks of life. I think her guidance and love helped me to make the decision to practice medicine,” Dr. Ritsch said.

This Thursday, May 11 the two will be back together helping patients once again. Hansen will join Dr. Ritsch and serve as a medical assistant taking vital signs. But this won’t be the first time. The two have actually worked side by side in the past delivering babies at one of the large hospital systems in Eau Claire.

Hansen added, “This is so much fun being able to help out again, especially around Mother’s Day. We have so much fun together, and being able to see my daughter as a physician once again, it makes me so proud.”

Dr. Ritsch opened her Eau Claire clinic last month and her first independent clinic in Menomonie, Wisconsin back in 2013. She has also started a new program called “The Circle” which is a revolutionary medical membership program designed as a concierge care option.
